Since the 1980s, our team of orthopedic surgeons has provided exceptional care to patients throughout Connecticut.

Our Medical Staff

Our physicians are on-staff at  Yale New Haven Hospital, the Hospital of St. Raphael and Milford Hospital. They also perform out-patient surgery at Yale's Temple Surgical Center in New Haven. All of our physicians are board-eligible or board-certified.

We are honored to note that once again in 2007, Connecticut Magazine named Dr. John Irving and Dr. Alan Reznik as being among the top doctors in Connecticut. Dr. Reznik was also named one of "America's Top Physicians" for 2004, 2005 and 2006 by the Consumer's Research Council of America. Our physicians are also noted for their state-of-the-art work at local hospitals. Dr. Christopher Lynch recently performed New Haven County’s first computer navigated total knee replacement, at Milford Hospital. Dr. Shirvinda Wijesekera recently marked a milestone at the Hospital of St. Raphael, performing the facility’s first total disc replacement.

Our 4 Convenient Locations

The home office of The Orthopaedic Group is located at 199 Whitney Avenue, in New Haven, CT. We have satellite clinics in Branford, Hamden and Milford, CT. We offer latex free environments in our New Haven, Branford and Milford locations for those patients and healthcare workers that have allergies to latex. Physical therapy and X-ray facilities are located in all four of our offices. We have opened a bone density center located in our New Haven office. Here are travel directions to our four locations.
