Bone Density Center

The physicians and staff of The Orthopaedic Group are pleased to announce that we now offer Bone Density Testing in our 199 Whitney Avenue location in New Haven, CT. We are now accepting appointments for screenings. This new center is an important addition to the extensive scope of clinical and diagnostic services we currently offer our patients and your patients.

Screenings will be performed by our licensed x-ray technicians who have been specially trained to perform these DEXA scans. The scans will be read by one of our physicians.

Insurance Credentials

The Bone Density Center is currently credentialed with Medicare, United Healthcare and Aetna PPO plans. We will continue to update the physician and patient community as we become credentialed with various other insurance companies.
