Broken Arm

The Humerus is the long bone that extends between the elbow and the shoulder. Fractures of the humerus are divided into three types: proximal humerus fractures of the shoulder, mid-shaft humerus fractures, and distal humerus fractures of the elbow. The vast majority of these fractures are caused by some type of trauma, falls, motor vehicle accidents , sports injuries, penetrating trauma, or as a result of osteoporosis.
