Choosing a Hand Surgeon:

Review their credentials:

  •   Many doctors complete fellowships in hand surgery
  •   A select few will take the examination for certificate for added qualification for surgery of the hand (CAQ)
  •   A small portion of hand surgeons fulfill the stringent   requirements for membership in The American Society for Surgery of the Hand(ASSH) which is the world-recognized organization for expertise in hand surgery. Dr. Bernstein has completed both and has maintained his CAQ and ASSH status.
